Regent Park Film Festival (RPFF) is an award-winning, community-based, charitable organization, and Toronto’s longest-running, FREE film festival. RPFF amplifies and centers marginalized communities and their stories, while opening up access to the film and television industry through year-round programming.
We believe everyone should be able to make and experience film and art, regardless of their financial status.
MAKE ART ACCESSIBLE.

The 23rd Annual Regent Park Film Festival returns with a new Friday Festival Fête and more.
Toronto’s longest-running free film festival, running November 27–30, 2025, has added 3 new venues and will showcase the award-winning Sudanese documentary Khartoum, a Director’s Spotlight on the work of Sasha Leigh Henry, free childcare, and much more.
Leadership transition at RPFF
This year’s Festival also carries special meaning as we celebrate Executive Director, Kalpana Srinarayanadas, and her final year at the helm. After stewarding RPFF for 4 years, Kalpana will be stepping down in January 2026. As we celebrate this year’s Festival and look toward the future, the Board has begun the search for RPFF’s next Executive Director; applications are now open.2025 Annual School Program
Registration is now open for our Annual School Program, taking place online November 10-December 5. Available to educators and students across Canada in grades 1-8, this FREE program provides curated film programming and lesson plans to help facilitate dialogue about experiences and issues facing young people today.Help us keep art accessible.
We urgently need your help. As 97.3% of RPFF’s income is achieved through fundraising, the uncertainty of funding for community arts organizations like ours as well as the rising costs has put RPFF in a difficult financial position this year.![]()
As a registered charitable organization, RPFF relies on the generous support of community members like yourself to achieve its mission. A donation of any amount makes a vital impact, and allows us to create opportunities, remove barriers, and amplify voices.
