We had an incredible time at Under the Stars: Movies in the Park BIG HERO 6 on August 5th!
It was a night full of music, play, and fun with great activities courtesy of our amazing program partners: RBC, Yoga for Youth (New Leaf Yoga), Art Heart, Open Streets TO, and Regent Park School of Music. You rock!
A huge thank you to RBC for sponsoring the night and providing 150 bags of free popcorn along with fun goodies such as yo-yos, beach balls, and bike mirrors. The youth got to relax and work their muscles thanks to the New Leaf Yoga Foundation, with a wonderful free Yoga for Youth workshop led by Rochelle.
The night was also filled with beautiful painted faces thanks to the talented individuals at ArtHeart. Finally, one great shout out to the always wonderful Open Streets TO for always coming through with fun activties for the whole community to enjoy.
Next Wednesday, August 12th is a night you definitely do not want to miss – it is Under the Stars: Movies in the Park BOLLYWOOD NIGHT! We will be having henna artists, a Bollywood Dance workshop, finished by a free screening of KUCH KUCH HOTA HAI. See everyone there!
