The Regent Park Film Festival partners with The Village of Storytellers: Regent Park Project

to host

“Storytelling Out Loud”

– a 5 week storytelling workshop

 

Description: Facilitated by Rico Rodrigues, Teacher and Professional Storyteller, the 5 sessions will take participants through hearing stories and oral storytelling exercises to practice the art of creating and telling their own stories. For participants interested in filmmaking, this is a the first step to crafting your story: understanding components of a good story and telling out loud a story you would like to eventually convey on the screen.

Where: Regent Park Film Festival offices, 585 Dundas Street East, Suite 240

When: 6pm – 7:30pm
Every monday from Feb 3 to March 10, 2014(except Family day)
Specific Dates: Feb 3, Feb 10, Feb 24, March 3, March 10*
Participants must be present at all dates
