In his music, he is vulnerable and introspective about his mental health struggles. He inspires others to take their wellbeing seriously. As Akintoye climbs the music industry ladder, he still makes space to encourage young people to express themselves through art.

She was a finalist in Regent Park Film Festival’s 2022 Emerging Filmmaker Pitch Competition, and was selected in Doc BC’s 2022 Science & Nature Filmmaking Workshop and VIFF’s 2023 Catalyst Mentorship Program.

Mahnoor Euceph is an award-winning Pakistani-American writer and director. Her work explores the South Asian diaspora through the female gaze and stories that decolonize the mind by empowering audiences to engage in radical self-love. She’s currently writing her feature film BROWN GIRL. Her short film EID MUBARAK is in consideration for the 95th Academy Awards.

Born and raised in Japan, Toko Shiiki spent most of her life in Tokyo before moving to Michigan in 2005. Toko’s pursuit of using photography as a narrative medium inspired her to explore documentary filmmaking, where she delights in meeting fascinating people and sharing their stories with the world.
