English Vinglish at Dentonia Park

When: July 22, 2023 | Pre-show at 7:30 pm | Movie at sundown
Where: Dentonia Park, 80 Thyra Ave, Toronto, ON

This year, we’re excited to bring Under the Stars to Dentonia Park (80 Thyra Ave). In case you missed the film on July 5, you can watch it on July 22!

Pre-Show:

Mapping with The Group Project + Colouring Pages
Elizabeth Mudenyo of The Group Project is joined by Sahar Golshan and Rimaz Mohamed for a large-scale mapping activity. The activity encourages children and youth to reimagine green space, including their own local Dentonia Park Golf Course into a more playful, welcoming and inclusive space.

The Group Project is an ad-hoc collective imagining new ways of creating space for arts and culture in Scarborough using a collaborative, community-focused approach.

Face Painting with Dina Belaia
When Dina paints on human faces, she uses the safest cosmetic supplies. Being a fine artist and a mother allows her to combine art skills with understanding the young models, which makes her face painting truly special.

Feed Scarborough
The Feed Scarborough team will host quiz games, educating kids about food security, as well as share their service offerings to parents.
