Annual Regent Park Film Festival

November 27 – 30, 2025

We invite you to join us for the 23rd Annual Regent Park Film Festival, Toronto’s most highly-anticipated community-focused event. RPFF brings together a wide array of audiences to experience a thoughtfully curated selection of independent, local, and international films from and about Black, Indigenous and People of Colour (BIPOC) communities.

RPFF presents films of all genres that resonate with and relate to the diverse lived experiences of BIPOC communities, along with interactive storytelling, industry events, workshops, and more.

As part of our commitment to these values and goals of advancing equity and inclusion in the Canadian media industry and arts community, RPFF prioritizes Regent Park residents; people with low income; people who live in public housing; and individuals who identify as Black, Indigenous, a Person of Colour, a woman or non-binary, a member of the 2SLGBTQI+, a person with a disability, or a combination of these identities.

In conjunction with our Annual Film Festival, RPFF presents our School Program which curates free media-literacy programming and lesson plans for educators and students across Canada in Grades 1-8. You can read more about the program here.

OUR COMITTMENT TO equity & inclusion

FREE Childcare

From our very first film festival, RPFF has always provided free childcare for every day of our Festival. Thinking holistically and removing any additional barriers to participating in the film festival is vitally important to RPFF.

FREE Film Submissions

Filmmakers can spend hundreds of dollars submitting their films to festivals worldwide just to be considered and given the chance to launch their careers. RPFF refuses to create any additional barriers for filmmakers to share their creative collaboration and hard work with the world.

ALL Artists paid for their work

As a member of the Independent Media Arts Alliance, RPFF is committed to paying industry-standard artist fees to artists, filmmakers & curators in all its programming.
