August 17, 2015 by Regent Park Film Festival

Under the Stars: Movies in the Park BOLLYWOOD NIGHT on August 12th was an incredible success! It was a night full of performances, food, and of course a great screening of the Bollywood classic KUCH KUCH HOTA HAI.

A huge thank you to Aruna and her two beautiful dancers from Shukanya Nrittangan who gave a wonderful Bollywood dance performance! The dance company will be having a Free show Sunday, October 4th 2015 6 – 9 PM in Daniels Spectrum, make sure not to miss it.

The night also featured the very talented henna artists, Subrana Rahman, Father Rahim, and Mahra Amin who did henna tattoos for the community.

Finally, the night was topped off with 400 free samosas, and a packed screening!

THIS Wednesday, August 19th will be the FINAL Under the Stars: Movies in the Park for the entire summer – a night not to be missed! we will be having a DJ Workshop with UforChange followed by a free screening of DO THE RIGHT THING. See everyone there!
